About Benjamin

Benjamin is a policy advisor and communications consultant
focusing on good governance and human rights. After completing
his undergraduate degree at York University, Benjamin worked as
a journalist overseas and with the GZERO Media for the political
risk consulting firm, Eurasia Group based out of New York. He was
a policy advisor and programme manager to several human
rights NGOs, such as the Montreal Institute for Global Security
(MIGS) where he worked alongside General Romeo Dallaire, and
for fmr. Liberal Justice Minister Irwin Cotler’s organization, the
Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights.

Benjamin has known Thornhill his whole life since he first attended
Associated Hebrew Schools, and then went to high school at the
Wilmington campus of Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto.
He was also a councillor at Camp Northland, and you may have
even seen him serving popcorn at the Promenade Mall back when
Rainbow Cinemas was there!

Ontario should be a place of opportunity for everyone. Having gone through my share of uncertainty, I know the importance of healthcare and education and that's why I am so incredibly proud to be carrying Bonnie Crombie's message here in Thornhill. Benjamin Dooley
